You may have heard on the news last week that there were two reported cases of measles on Kauai (not WHS). This week Wednesday, the PTSA is sponsoring an ice cream social for WHS students who received at least a 3.0 GPA or received NO "U" GLO marks -- when Ms. Asahi and I went through each report card last week, we counted 340 students who qualify for this award. Please have your student go to the table fronting the main office during lunch on Wednesday to claim his/her prize; the list of eligible students will be posted at the office.
Students have been told that they may dress up for Halloween on Friday but they have to follow dress code requirements -- no midriff showing, no tank tops (boys), no spaghetti/backless (girls). Please remind your student to choose an appropriate costume or report to school in uniform on Friday.
