A week of Christmas celebrations and a college financial aid evening too....

Last week of the semester and it’s a busy one!

This week is Christmas Celebration with a special dress-up opportunity daily, ranging from dressing like a present to wearing your favorite Christmas sweater.  On Thursday we’re having our Winter Assembly during advisory period (rescheduled from last Friday) and our Christmas Concert on the Front Lawn, starting at 6:30 pm.  Bring a jacket, a lawn chair and enjoy an evening of Christmas music and dance under the stars!

Please continue to push your student to finish the semester strong – all assignments completed and turned in on time, study for all tests and quizzes, complete all required Achieve3000 and AR books/points/tests before deadlines.  We want to be sure all of our students continue to learn and earn credits towards graduation!

Christmas break begins this Friday, December 18^th and runs until Wednesday January 6^th for students.   Merry Christmas everyone….. have a fun, festive, and safe holiday season with family and friends.

1.        NO Skinny Monday this week….. we will do A Day schedule on Monday 12/14 so that we don’t lose a full day of instruction for periods 1-4.  We will go A,B,A,B this week.

Registration Night, Santa's Village, Winter Assembly and Winter Fest this week!

It’s that super hectic time of year when students are juggling their end of semester assignments/tests with planning for next year’s courses.  To help alleviate half of the stress, WHS registrar Wendi Russell and other staff members will be available in the LRC (library) this coming Monday night from 5-8 pm to answer questions and help students and parents navigate the registration process which is now online.  Hope to see you that evening.

Also happening this week on campus –

·         Wednesday = Santa’s Village from 6-8 pm at the cafeteria.  Come join in the fun, hosted by our students

·         Friday = Winter Assembly

·         Saturday = Winter Fest
