Thank you for talking to your students about the After School app. We've had numerous calls at the office for more information; am posting another link below to a story that was posted by KHON yesterday.
This is the last week of school for our seniors….. a
bittersweet time of stress, tears, and joy.
Please encourage your students to finish strong as we’re still testing
and working til the end of the school year!
Graduation begins at 6:30 pm on the front lawn
this Friday…. come early if you do not have a reserved ticket. Our guests that evening will be Board of
Education member Maggie Cox, Assistant Superintendent Clyde Sonobe, and UH Hilo
Academic Dean, Randy Hirokawa who is a Waimea HS graduate. We’re asking that the public stay away from
the old grandstand area on the baseball field; it’s going to be fenced off as
it will either be undergoing extensive renovation or eventually will be
demolished. Either way, it’s an
off-limits area for everyone so I’m going to ask that everyone please steer
clear from the area.
Have a great week everyone.
Mrs. Anguay
