All West Complex Schools (Kalaheo, Eleele, Kekaha, WCMS, and WHS) will
have a staff Professional Day TOMORROW, January 11th…. No school for
students. Classes will resume as normal
the following day, Tuesday January 12th.
At tomorrow’s PD day, we will be continuing our work on differentiation
with help from District staff, Caroline Freudig and Mariann Tabuchi, and will
also start on our WASC focus group work in preparation for our accreditation
visit in spring 2017. Teachers will be
reviewing our Comprehensive Needs Analysis, Future Ready implementation plan,
and most recent student achievement and perception data to begin answering the
prompts for the report. We will be
asking for student, parent, and community input as we work through this process
over the next year; please come to our next SCC meeting on January 25th
to learn how you can participate and contribute to our report.
