Last Friday, we took 23 WHS students to Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle
School to do our ‘Discover Waimea’ presentation about the wide range of career
path options and programs available to our students. It was a great opportunity for our students to
practice their public speaking and persuasive techniques …. It was also a fun
learning experience for the CKMS students who saw student-created videos, a JROTC
drill team presentation, got their blood pressure checked, and just talked
